First, I would like to say hello and thank you for  visiting the Kids Cave Family Daycare website.

I have always had a love for children and a passion for education.  I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a teenager I 

babysat for family, friends and neighbors.  For 25 years I've worked

with children in Elementary, Middle, and High school as a Peace Officer for NYPD and Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, NY. 

While working as a Peace Officer for the New York Police

Department in a  Brooklyn public school, a teacher asked me to speak in front of the class on career day. I absolutely loved it! From that day forward, I decided to combine my love for children and my passion for education.

I attended New York City Technical College and obtained my Certification for Teacher Assistant as well as training to become a childcare provider. I geared my career towards early childhood and began working as a Teacher in a Brooklyn Daycare. In early 2010, I relocated to Beacon, New York with my three children. I obtained a job working in a daycare in Newburgh, New York as a Teacher as well as working as a Teacher Assistant in the Beacon City School District. Although I loved working in the daycare and in Sargent Elementary School, I decided to take my love for children and passion for education a step further by opening KCFD in Beacon.
